Mr Christmas invites you to Santa’s Grotto, Friday 28th Nov 3:30-6pm & Fayre Saturday 29th Nov 11am-2pm

Mr Men Christmas Book

Taking inspiration from some of our favourite childhood books, we are proud to announce a Jolly Christmas Santa’s Grotto on Friday, 28th of November. Entry is £2 including a present from Santa.

Times will be given to you on a first come first served basis at 3:15pm (after school in the courtyard by the office) on the day itself. The times will be between 3:30pm and 5:45pm. You and your child/children may stay and wait for your appointment with Santa, as there will be small snacks, a gift shop and a seasonal film to watch (Otherwise you are free to leave and come back at your appointment time)

Then our Jolly Christmas Fayre is the following day! Saturday, 29th of November from 11am. Games, toys, tombolas, tattoos and a craft and gift-making tent will be happening until 1:30pm with the raffle announced at 1:30pm and finishing before 2pm. We’ll have food, drink, cakes, mince pies and more!
As always we count on all our parents at Gwyn Jones to make these fantastic events possible! Below are some ways you can help out:

1- Friday 28th of Nov is a non-uniform day for the children in exchange for bringing in treats for the tombola. This can be bottles (non-alcoholic or alcoholic) and/or jars packed with sweets (why not clear out your Halloween candy?). Please bring these to your teacher at drop off time on FRI 28th NOV

2- Can you cook or bake? It’s easy to donate a lovely cake, gingerbread house or cookies. Can you make some pasta, a rice dish or other lunchtime food? Please bring these between 8am and 11am on Sat, 29th Nov (be sure to label dishes/crockery with your child’s name and class so we can make sure to return to you)

3- Most importantly, your children need you to help out at the event! Saturday, 29th Nov 11am – 1:30pm for food and games, with raffle from 1:30pm. Invite all of your friends and family too. Approximately 50 parents are going to be involved to run games and crafts and food stalls so that all the children can have a brilliant time. That means a fun afternoon helping the kids do things like pick lucky dip prizes, hook a duck, throw snowballs, put on temporary tattoos, and do some glue and glitter. It’s a lot of fun, please put your name down to be involved so that we don’t have to close down any stalls.

Sign up sheet is in the school office or email us here

Thanks and see you there!
